Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 11, 2026 • Last Reviewed: September 2026
Welcome to AnuSutra (“anusutra.in”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AnuSutra website, its astronomical Panchang calculations, philosophical translations, guides, and digital tools. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
1. Intellectual Property & Permitted Use
Unless otherwise indicated, all original articles, software calculators, layout designs, and curated translations published on AnuSutra are the intellectual property of AnuSutra and its author, Ravindra Valand.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and read our materials for personal, non-commercial educational and spiritual contemplation purposes. You may not republish, distribute, mirror, or sell full articles without explicit written permission from the publisher.
2. Content & Philosophical Disclaimer
The philosophical commentaries, Upanishadic translations, and meditation guides provided on AnuSutra are intended solely for general cultural, historical, and personal development purposes.
While we strive for textual and historical precision based on canonical Sanskrit sources, ancient texts are subject to multiple scholarly and traditional interpretations. We encourage readers to study multiple perspectives and consult qualified spiritual preceptors (*Gurus*) or academic scholars.
3. Panchang & Astronomical Timing Accuracy
Our Vedic Panchang calculations (including Brahma Muhurta, Rahu Kaal, Tithi, and Nakshatra timings) are algorithmically computed using verified astronomical and mathematical models calibrated for regional coordinates in India.
Local sunrise, atmospheric refraction, and topographical elevations can introduce slight variances (typically ±1 to 3 minutes) across different geographic coordinates. These calculations are provided in good faith for general spiritual schedule guidance and should not replace specialized muhurat consultations for major orthodox religious sacraments.
4. Prohibited Conduct
When using AnuSutra, you agree that you will not:
- Engage in unauthorized automated data scraping, harvesting, or indexing that causes disruption to our hosting infrastructure.
- Attempt to bypass security headers, inject malicious payloads, or interfere with ad serving mechanisms.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with AnuSutra in any communication or forum.
5. Advertising & Third-Party Links
AnuSutra displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense and may include links to external websites (such as subdomains, scientific papers, or referenced scriptures).
We do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites. Interaction with advertisements and third-party links is solely between you and the third-party advertiser.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AnuSutra and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to, use of, or inability to use the site and its calculated timings.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
